About

Maurice is an experienced business consultant, motivational speaker and coach with over 20 years experience as a driving force behind superior customer service, cultural change and organisational growth for companies in diverse industries. He launched strategic initiatives to improve regional performance across all business- critical metrics at Direct Line Insurance saving one of its largest regional businesses from closure through an inspirational culture change programme.

Maurice has a proven history of uniting team members behind a vision of excellence which was demonstrated to full effect at Interflora the global flower retail brand. There he was appointed as the Commercial Director for 5 years to turn around the businesses profitability. During his time there he spearheaded strategies to optimise sales, customer service, efficiency and cost control resulting in a major structural change and successful turnaround of a business with enormous heritage which was free falling into decline.

Whilst most leaders recognise the importance of systems, policies, process and protocols, Maurice’s leadership style puts people first demonstrating the critical need to consider company culture as the force behind success and harmony.

As a business consultant, trainer, speaker and author, Maurice has a passion for leadership both in an organisationaland personal context. He has also qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist through the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, is an NLP practioner and has published his own personal development book called ‘Hamster to Harmony – Get of the wheel and live your best life.’

Despite his corporate identity and experience which can all sound a little intense and serious, Maurice’s number one personal value is his passion and zest for life, laughter and people. His mission now is to use his experience to help people consciously choose the results they wish to see in their lives both personally and professionally.

In short he helps people to ‘get off their wheels and live their best life’.
